A bold new signature experience debuts during Traverse City Food & Wine at Chateau Grand Traverse, northern Michigan's oldest winery and the estate that put Old Mission Peninsula on the map as a world-class wine region. The evening begins with a welcome pour before guests embark on a guided exploration through the estate vineyards, production cellar, and barrel room — including exclusive tank samples and behind-the-scenes access rarely available to the public.
As evening settles over Old Mission Peninsula, guests descend beneath the Inn into the hidden Club Room Speakeasy, an intimate private dining space reserved for only the most ambitious culinary experiences. Winery Executive Chef Keil presents a plated multi-course dinner, paired side-by-side with benchmark European wines and estate-grown Chateau Grand Traverse selections — a comparative exploration of terroir, philosophy, and cool-climate craftsmanship. Throughout the evening, guests are invited into open conversation with the chef and winery team, in a format designed to feel less like a dinner service and more like an insider gathering among friends.
