Chateau Grand Traverse
invites you to indulge in a transcendent midday experience at the heart of Old
Mission Peninsula wine country.
This intimate, open-air
culinary event begins with a private campus tour across the historic estate and
production facility, offering behind-the-scenes access to the vineyards,
cellar, and the story behind Northern Michigan’s most iconic wines.
Following the tour and tank
sampling, guests will be welcomed to a vineyard table nestled among the vines
for a multi-course luncheon, presented in collaboration by Estate Executive
Chef Keil Moshier and special guest, Chef Omar Anani—James Beard-nominated chef
and founder of Detroit’s acclaimed Saffron De Twah.
Known for his bold,
ingredient-driven cuisine rooted in North African flavors with French
technique, Chef Anani brings a family-style approach to the table—featuring
vibrant, shareable dishes that reflect both his culinary heritage and the
summer season of Northern Michigan.
Each course is paired with a
curated flight of CGT wines, including current releases, cellar-aged reserves,
and rare library selections. With every pour and every plate, this experience
reflects the soul of Chateau Grand Traverse—where Old World vines meet Old
Mission soul. From vineyard heritage to cellar craftsmanship, it’s a
celebration of expressive winemaking shared among connoisseurs, collectors, and
culinary insiders.
